I had full run of the place as Phillip headed south to aiken, so it was a relief to know that I had an indoor for the winter, and we certainly needed it, it was a very cold winter and it seemed that it snowed every other day, but be got thru it.

The year in review

2008 has been a year of change for Sally McKechnie Equestrian. Sally's wedding and a change of barns has made this year quite exciting.

Sally's parents arrived from Australia in February in preparation for the wedding in June, as well as touring the U.S. Scully, Sally's advanced horse, was still recovering from his Fair Hill injury back in October.
March meant it was time to go to Aiken. The whole crew left early in the morning with two trailers. It was in Aiken that Abbey proved she could event all the way to the top, and working student Blair moved up to Prelim on her horse Louie. However, Blair fell off while going cross country and broke her ankle, which sent her home to New Mexico to recover. Meanwhile in Pennsylvania, Scully was going back into work.
